Hi, I’m Paulo, your local photographer in Tokyo.

Originally from the Philippines, I’ve been living in Tokyo since 2007 and have been photographing the city for over a decade. I started with landscape photography, which taught me to appreciate light, composition, and storytelling. As time went on, I found myself drawn to portraits and street photography, capturing genuine moments and the everyday beauty of life in Tokyo.

In 2019, I won a landscape photography contest, an experience that helped shape my creative vision and attention to detail. Today, my passion is creating natural, candid photographs that reflect real emotions rather than perfectly posed moments.

Alongside photography, I’ve been teaching English in Japan for more than ten years. Meeting people from different cultures has helped me create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere during every session. Whether it’s your first professional photoshoot or your tenth, my goal is to make you feel comfortable and simply enjoy the experience.

One of my favorite things about Tokyo is exploring its hidden streets and local neighborhoods. I love sharing these places and the stories behind them while creating photographs that feel authentic and personal.
